Christanity and Islam are minority in yoruba land and Nigeria as a whole if holistic assessment is taken to count us through a spiritual census and according to what the Bible and Quran spells out as a condition to be a member of their respective faith.
So fighting over a religion that the largest percent of yorubas don't practice spiritually is crazy and hypocritical as well. Yoruba has over 400 traditional sects like the ogboni,alagbaa,ifa desciples,sango desciples,ogun desciples,alaragbo,olokun, obokun, etc over 80% of acclaimed believers of Bible and Quran are either full member of this sects or believes in their powers by going to them for help, pastors and Imams are not excepted and they have never pose any treat to national peace.
How many yoruba or a Nigerian can vowed he or she believes in the Bible or Quran alone without any affiliation with their traditional religion or without consulting them for assistance at all,listen to me, let's stop useless and hypocritical fighting among ourselves and be tolerant because what unite us as yorubas is blood and it is powerful than any religious beliefs,let us practice our faith privately without infringing on others right, let love lead in yoruba land because it's our kingdom and home.
Lastly I'm pleading with my fellow yorubas and Africans to stop been ashamed of whom you are by divinity, do not be deceived nobody has the monopoly of knowing God or his ways, yoruba were naturally gifted with knowing God without a wrriten down scriptures that's is the reason behind the name omoluabi or omo ti olu iwa bi meaning a child born of impeccable character worthy of emulation,it wasn't the white that revealed God to us, God has been reffered to as O'LORUN meaning the owner of the heavens before the adventure of Islam and Christian missionaries in yoruba land just like we refer our kings as alake of ake land so thus God has the title of Olorun of orun so stop fighting over foreign religion and if u are a member of any traditional sector, pls don't hide it come out boldly and let the world see u as u are, its not a sin to be whom u are by divinity,let love lead once again, Eledumare agbe wa ooo eje ki Ife Joba ooo
