Logistics Coordinator
We are looking for a competent Logistics Coordinator to oversee and facilitate the delivery operations of our company. You will be the one to coordinate personnel and processes to achieve the effective distribution of goods.
A great asset for a Logistics Coordinator is their communication and negotiation skills. They are also well-versed in supply management principles and practices. The ideal candidate will have great record-keeping abilities and a customer-oriented approach.
The goal is to ensure the smooth operations of a variety of channels aiming for maximum efficiency.
Responsibilities
• Coordinate and monitor pickup and delivery operations
• Coordinate dispatch riders to ensure prompt and proper movement of shipments
• Develop processes that will make the delivery operations efficient and organized
• Ensure that the quality of all services provided meets the required standards
• Addressing and resolving shipment issues.
• Receives shipments, sort and route for next day delivery
• Responding immediately to customer questions and complaints and notifying them of any delays in the delivery schedule
• Maintain detailed and accurate logistics data for daily, weekly, and quarterly reports including customer issues and resolutions, training records, and work logs
• Identify process bottlenecks and suggest solutions for improvement
• Coordinate and train staff in the logistics department

Logistics Coordinator Skills and Qualifications:
• Minimum OND required, (HND/BSc is an added advantage
• Minimum of 1- 2 years’ experience 
• Problem-solving skills
• Decision making ability.
• Organizational, Coordination and Management skills
• Procedural mindset
• Ability to priorizies
• Understanding of quality management principles
• Attention to detail
• Ability to analyze data and understand connections. 
• Talent for recognizing the opportunities for process improvement in those connections.
• Experience in logistics management preferred 
• Experience often may substitute for education
• Previous customer service experience
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Keen on working in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of Lagos routes

Salary 
50,000 – 70,000
